چکیده

Aim To study cytokine profiles and intra-individual correlations in crevicular fluid samples at periodontitis, peri-implantitis, healthy sites. Materials methods Samples from gingival (GCF) peri-implant (PICF) were collected diseased sites patients who had dental implants for a minimum of 10 years. Cytokine levels analyzed using the Bio-Plex Pro Human inflammation kit, which included biomarkers tumor necrosis factor-? (TNF-?) superfamily, regulatory T Cell (Treg) cytokines, interferon (IFN) proteins. Results Gingival fluid/PICF levels, determined 163 patients, frequently lower tooth implant compared to with periodontitis or peri-implantitis. In contrast, there no significant differences between Intra-individual cytokines significant. addition, IFN-?1 TNFSF12 significantly correlated presence Conclusion Within limits this study, profile did not differ diagnosed those but Studying is method elucidate possible etiopathogeneses since it well known that immune responses dysbiosis vary individuals according host factors. Thus, findings present are potentially relevant advancement knowledge field.

Interleukin 17 receptor gene polymorphism in periimplantitis and chronic periodontitis.

Gene polymorphism of cytokines influencing their function has been known as a contributing factor in the pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases of the tooth and implant supporting tissues. The aim of this study was to investigate the association of IL-17R gene polymorphism (rs879576) with chronic periodontitis and periimplantitis in an Iranian population. 73 patients with chronic periodontitis, ...

A 5-year comparative study on conventional and laser assisted therapy of periimplantitis and periodontitis

Numerous groups have recommended the use ofthe diode laser to decontaminate infected root and implant surfaces. The aim ofthis study was to show the outcome after laser assisted and conventional therapy ofperiimplantitis and periodontitis administering approved treatment protocols. Between 1994 and 1999 a total of5O patients with periimplantitis (20 ) and periodontitis (30) were treated in two ...

Profile of cytokine mRNA expression in chronic adult periodontitis.

Chronic inflammation induced by bacteria often leads to host-mediated destruction of tissues adjacent to the sites of microbial insult. The chronic inflammatory process of adult periodontitis results in the destruction of supporting osseous and connective tissues of the teeth. We hypothesized that virulence factors of periodontal pathogens such as lipopolysaccharide stimulate inflammatory cytok...

Intraindividual variation in core microbiota in peri-implantitis and periodontitis

The oral microbiota change dramatically with each part of the oral cavity, even within the same mouth. Nevertheless, the microbiota associated with peri-implantitis and periodontitis have been considered the same. To improve our knowledge of the different communities of complex oral microbiota, we compared the microbial features between peri-implantitis and periodontitis in 20 patients with bot...
